Wei Liu, alumnus of the MBA Class of 2002, Deputy General Manager of Huqing Antai Energy Co., Ltd., and Professorate Senior Engineer.
With more than 20 years of experience in the development and application of geothermal renewable energy, Mr. Liu is a recognized expert in the geothermal industry. He has led or contributed to the drafting of 10 technical standards for ground-source heat pumps, published 14 industry research papers, obtained 24 patented technologies, and directed a number of major and key innovation demonstration projects. From 1997 to 2004, he worked at the Beijing branch of Hebei Construction Group. From 2005 to 2011, he served as Deputy General Manager of Beijing Huaqing Geothermal Development Co., Ltd. In 2012, he founded Huqing Antai Energy Co., Ltd., leading the team to achieve listing on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations within three years and to become a benchmark enterprise in the industry within ten years. In 2024, the company was acquired by Jingneng Group, with plans to go public within three years and become a leading enterprise in the field of integrated geothermal energy.
Abstract:
Drawing on his rich life and career experience, the speaker will share insights from his professional journey and entrepreneurial experience, with particular emphasis on his long-term commitment to the geothermal energy industry and the many innovative achievements he has realized. He will also offer an in-depth analysis of trends and technological innovation in the green energy sector, and reflect on his own growth and development through concrete case studies.
